Guest Rooms and Suites

The quality and style of Monte Carlo is realized in its 2,992 guest rooms, including 224 suites. Tastefully decorated in contemporary earth tones with cherry furniture, luxurious pillow-top mattresses, 27-inch televisions and high-speed Internet capabilities, all rooms offer spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip or pool area.

For those looking for additional in-room amenities, Monte Carlo offers the exquisite Penthouse, Monaco, Spa and Diamond Suites. The suites feature added options such as dining rooms, wet bars, fitness rooms, remote-control lighting, in-suite safes, special armoires offering complete music and video systems and Italian-marble bathrooms featuring whirlpool tubs, steam showers and wet saunas.


The Pools

Whether the plan is to relax poolside under tropical palms or catch some classic fun in the sun, the Monte Carlo pool provides the ideal setting. The 21,000-square-foot area features lush landscaping and a variety of crystal-clear pools, including a heated whirlpool. Guests can grab a raft and float serenely past cliffs and waterfalls on the Easy River Ride or body surf in the city’s first-ever Wave Pool, featuring waves more than two feet high. Those seeking the ultimate in poolside relaxation can reserve a private cabana and enjoy a wide variety of amenities including personalized service, flat-screen television, radio, phone and refrigerator.


Spa & Salon Monte Carlo

Spa Monte Carlo’s beautiful, intimate atmosphere is the result of furnishings selected from across the globe. Stone from India, marble from China, porcelain from Italy, ceramics from Indonesia and granite from Saudi Arabia enhance the tasteful, muted colors and subtle lighting.

Guests can relax or get energized with treatments designed for maximum results. Facials range from those aimed at reversing the effects of stress and aging to those that use champagne and caviar for the ultimate indulgence. Body scrubs feature aromatic sea salt or luxurious honey butter while a wide range of body wraps help firm elasticity, hide cellulite or hydrate sun-stressed, fatigued or dry skin.

Featuring Matrix equipment, including treadmills and X bikes, the fitness facility also offers bikes and elliptical machines by True as well as Cybex power cages and Nautilus strength machines.

Services ranging from haircuts and color treatments to pedicures, manicures, waxing and makeup applications are offered inside Salon Monte Carlo.


Master Magician Lance Burton

Part of the night’s magic is legendary Master Magician Lance Burton. From sleight-of-hand to grand illusions, suspending disbelief is Lance Burton’s forte. The world champion magician immerses audiences in a place where gloves turn into doves and burning candles appear in hand. Burton is recognized nationally as one of the greatest prestidigitators.

Burton performs his classic magic show in a theatre built and named in his honor. With theatre-style seating, its charm is evocative of London’s West End playhouses.


Zowie Bowie (Premiered September 4, 2009)

The classic days of Vegas are back when Zowie Bowie pays tribute to the heydays of Las Vegas when the Rat Pack ruled The Strip. Accompanied by a 15-piece orchestra, Zowie Bowie gives audiences a classic Las Vegas evening every Sunday night in an exclusive three-month engagement of the Zowie Bowie Vintage Vegas Show at the Lance Burton Theatre. Zowie Bowie also performs their unique blend of today’s hottest dance, hip-hop and Top 40 music at The Pub every Friday and Saturday night. Along with a high-voltage band, the shows will have guests on their feet dancing to the sizzling and sexy sound that has made Zowie Bowie a Las Vegas mainstay.


Frank Caliendo (Premiered October 12, 2009)

Known by millions for his dead-on impressions of celebrities and politicians Caliendo has spent his career making people laugh and now brings his memorable comedy to the Monte Carlo. The new show will be a dynamic mix of high-energy comedy and fast-paced impressions enhanced by live music, video sketches and much more. Caliendo performs his hilarious comedy mix in the Lance Burton Theatre.


Specialty Restaurants at Monte Carlo

Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge – Celebrity Chef André Rochat’s AAA Four Diamond restaurant combines old-world charm with a modern twist to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Guests can indulge in Andre’s signature menu items and their favorite varietals from an award-winning wine list that boasts more than 1,500 selections. The Lounge offers one of the widest selections of Cognacs, Armagnacs and after-dinner drinks in North America. For an added experience, Cognacs and cigars can be professionally paired.

BRAND – The Light Group, Las Vegas’ premier restaurant and nightlife organization, fuses modern fine dining with the classic steakhouse to create the ultimate dining experience at BRAND. Created by award-winning design firm Graft Lab, the 5,000-square-foot dining room and adjacent lounge is the center of excitement and energy. The menu features oversized steaks and chops cooked to order on a wood-burning grill, served with house-made sauces. The chic lounge features plush low-level, couch-style seating with five elevated plasma television screens and a DJ booth, making it an ideal place for sports viewing or a relaxed evening of music and cocktails.

Diablo’s Cantina – This 10,000-square-foot, multi-level dining and entertainment complex, created by The Light Group, is “Party Central” for those looking to let loose in a lively fiesta-like atmosphere. Downstairs guests find the main dining area with a hip bar and lounge while upstairs an open-air bar area and stage for live music and DJs keep the energy going all night. A mouth-watering menu includes a cross between south-of-the-border favorites such as Diablo’s Beef Chili Nachos, Spicy Grilled Shrimp Quesadilla as well as Diablo’s 15-ounce Burger; the large portion sizes encourage sharing and ensure that no one leaves hungry.

The Pub at Monte Carlo (Opened September 2009) – The Pub, with its casual décor, offers a comfortable, friendly atmosphere perfect for watching sporting events, listening to live music or playing a friendly game of beer pong in a relaxed unpretentious setting. The menu offers pub-style favorites with a focus on burgers including a selection of fresh baked buns to custom build the “create-your-own” burgers that will satisfy individual tastes. While The Pub is known for its fantastic burgers, the menu also includes appetizers, salads, pizzas and signature beers.

Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar (Re-opened September 2009) - With three culinary experiences under one roof, Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar offers classic Chinese cuisine, house-made dim sum and sushi. Dragon Noodle’s “Cosplay Lounge,” named for the Japanese fan term for “costume play,” rings true to its moniker with the lounge staff playfully outfitted in costumes inspired by popular anime characters. The lounge features a sake list in addition to an international selection of spirits including shochu and cachaça. For those interested in exotic libations, handcrafted tiki cocktails include The Purple Pearl (Moonstone Momokawa Black Raspberry Sake, Marie Brizard Cassis Liqueur, Sweet & Sour and Fresh Blackberries) and The Volcano, a rum-based cocktail for two served in a smoldering volcano-shaped goblet.

d.vino Italian Food & Wine Bar (Opens November 2009) - d.vino Italian Food & Wine Bar will serve authentic Italian cuisine and offer more than 150 wines. Using only the freshest ingredients, the menu will feature traditional, house-made pasta and family-style menus. The restaurant also will feature wood-fired pizza, an artisanal cheese counter, a salumeria and an iced seafood bar. d.vino’s Enomatic wine system will feature 16 special rare vintages that can be tasted in 2 oz., 5 oz. or 8 oz. pours.


Casual Dining at Monte Carlo

The Buffet – This exhibition-style kitchen features a wide range of American and international dishes. Live cooking stations include fresh, made-to-order pasta dishes. Freshly carved turkey or beef, a plentiful salad bar and delectable desserts complete the offerings.

The Café – A variety of appetizers, sandwiches and hot dishes in a stylish, contemporary setting is available 24 hours a day.

Food Court – The Food Court at Monte Carlo is a great place to satisfy hunger before a big day or long night in Las Vegas. Dining options include a variety of favorites: McDonald’s, a worldwide favorite; Rubio’s, affordable, casual and fresh Mexican grill items; Manchu Wok, fast and fresh Chinese cuisine; Sbarro Italian Eatery, hot and hearty traditional Italian fare; Subway, a wide array of healthy sandwiches and wraps; Starbucks Coffee, gourmet coffees, teas and coffee drinks along with pastries, candies and chocolates; and Häagen Dazs Ice Cream, sure to please any connoisseur of frozen concoctions.


Shopping at Monte Carlo

Monte Carlo's Street of Dreams features unique shopping opportunities set within a tree-lined cobblestone avenue. From the men’s fashions of Elton’s to Bijoux Terner where everything is $15, there’s something to tempt every shopper. Guests also will find Bubbles, offering bath and beauty products; Lunettes, featuring designer eyewear; the Lance Burton Magic Shop, for the up-and-coming expert and the Monte Carlo Beach Club Shoppe, stocked with everything needed for a day at the pool.


The Chapel at Monte Carlo

The Chapel at Monte Carlo features a soft, French Victorian-themed décor and can seat up to 100 guests. Added touches include French doors, crown moulding, hand-painted murals and lovely floral arrangements. The chapel’s wedding coordinators can assist with every detail to create the perfect package for a religious or civil service, as well as a renewal of vows or commitment ceremony. Couples also have the special option to streamline their wedding live via the Monte Carlo website.


The Casino

Like its celebrated namesake, Monte Carlo provides non-stop gaming excitement. Slots, video poker, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, a Race & Sports Book, Poker Room and high-limit gaming are available. As an added feature, Monte Carlo provides daily gaming lessons for those guests who would like to learn how to play craps and poker.

Patrons also may participate in MGM MIRAGE Players Club, which allows casino customers to enjoy the convenience of carrying one card for both slot and table games at 12 MGM MIRAGE resorts. Because all casino play is recognized in a single account, it is an easy and fast way to receive cash back and complimentary services.


Shadow Creek

Located in the midst of the barren Nevada desert on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Shadow Creek has achieved national recognition and the kind of startling mystique reserved for only a select number of golf courses. The course, perennially ranked among Golf Digest’s top 10 courses in the country, is known for its natural beauty, rolling terrain, glistening brooks and ponds, lush gardens and mature trees. The visual elements, spectacular waterfalls and course design lend to astonishing views.

Shadow Creek re-opened in December 2008 following a seven-month enhancement project overseen by original course architect Tom Fazio. The course’s tees and greens were rebuilt and reseeded, the irrigation system was upgraded and a new world-class short-game area was created, intended to reflect the diverse and intriguing shot values evident throughout the course.
