Patty moved to Las Vegas in 1974 from North Dakota and joined the MGM Resorts International team in 1998 as a Casino Host. With over 30 years of Casino experience and Director of Customer Development she enjoys meeting new guests and loves that each day is truly an adventure in the Casino Industry. Patty strives to make sure every guest has a wonderful stay at Monte Carlo and looks forward to meeting you soon.

Catherine has been a Las Vegas resident for 27 years. Catherine began her career in Marketing with The Mirage after graduating from UNLV in 2000 with a B.S. in Business Administration Management. In 2006, she was promoted to Executive Slot Host and transferred to Monte Carlo where she absolutely enjoys the daily challenges of being a Host. She loves the job, the people she works with and above all, the guests that she hosts every single day. During her down time, Catherine loves to shop, travel and spend time with her family.
A native of the great state of Indiana, Brandon Whitney attended Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis for Business Management. Brandon began his career with MGM MIRAGE in 2001 as a Casino Host at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Prior to joining MGM MIRAGE. Brandon has an impressive background in the hospitality and service industry working for great companies including Marriot, Hilton Hotels and Avis.
Kurt Zeppenfeld has worked as a Casino Marketing Executive with Monte Carlo since December 2006 and has been an employee of MGM MIRAGE since 1990. Kurt is proud to be a Diversity Champion and a Commander in the Naval Reserve who was recalled to active duty in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He brings to the Monte Carlo team the belief that each customer has great value and is strongly convinced that every guest should leave Monte Carlo as if they were the most important guest on the property.
Temeka’s family moved from Shreveport, LA to Las Vegas when she was 5 years old. She has over 8 years casino marketing experience; she started her casino career in 2002, and has recently joined the Monte Carlo team. One of the things Temeka loves about her career is the opportunity to meet and interact with so many different people. She considers herself a native of Las Vegas, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends and she loves to read.
Rebecca moved to Las Vegas in 1981 from Minnesota and began her career learning all aspects of the hotel and gaming operations, realizing Casino Marketing is where each day is truly an adventure. Rebecca has held positions as a Player Development Executive across the valley before joining the Monte Carlo family in 2014. Rebecca is looking forward to making your trip to the Monte Carlo a memorable one.
Elena brings to her position twenty years of experience in hospitality services that ranged from a VIP Services Associate to an Executive Casino Host. Her journey began as a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management. With the ability to speak fluent Russian, Armenian and, of course, English, Elena has established a respected reputation with the international clientele in her past positions.
Ryan is a native of Cleveland Ohio and relocated to Las Vegas Nevada in 1997. His Casino experience began at the Monte Carlo at the Players Club desk in 1997 and after 2 years, transferred to Casino Marketing. In total, he has been in the Casino industry for over 17 years and enjoys every minute of it. When not at work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, and sports of all kinds.
Gil Cohen started his Casino Hosting Career by opening the Mirage Hotel in 1989. After leaving in 2003, he worked for a local casino operator until returning “to the Strip” and to the Monte Carlo in May of 2014. An avid golfer, Gil enjoys taking guest out and spending time in the great surroundings that a golf course offers. Having lived in Las Vegas since 1957, he has seen the city grow from less than 85,000 residents to over 2 million and has great stories of growing up in Las Vegas, “in the good old days”. Gil is married to another longtime Las Vegan, who moved to town with her family in 1955. He has two daughters and 3 grandchildren, who are all Vegas residents.
Originally from Vancouver, B.C., Olivia moved to Reno, Nevada when she was 10 and graduated from University of Nevada Reno in 2010. Her hotel experience started at the front desk at Silver Legacy in Reno in 2005. Olivia moved to Las Vegas in 2010 to work in the VIP Lounge and Casino Marketing at Mandalay Bay then was soon promoted to Executive Asian Host at Treasure Island in 2012. Olivia loves being a Casino Host. Working in a high volume casino such as the Monte Carlo is very exciting and she looks forward to meeting new guests. In her spare time, she likes to do hot Pilates, hiking and shopping! Olivia loves venturing out to try new restaurants and enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Rocky and Ruby.
Jack Liang was born and raised in mainland China and moved to Las Vegas at age 12. He attended the University of Las Vegas Nevada where he studied business management. He is fluent in English and Mandarin and has a vast understanding of Chinese culture. Jack enjoys traveling to different countries to explore and discover other cultures. He takes pride in helping others and will make you feel at home here at Monte Carlo. He is looking forward to providing you with the best guest service and ensuring that you enjoy every aspect of the Monte Carlo experience.
